After living in Fontana, then Eureka, Oakland and Fremont, I finally settled in Texas (East of Dallas) in 1972. I married a retired Mesquite police officer 26 years ago. He was also a Dallas County bailiff for 6 years. We combined families in 1983, and I lost my oldest daughter 7 years ago waiting for a double lung transplant. We have 4 children remaining. A daughter 41 who lives in Forney, Tx, a son 38 who lives in Forney, another son 38 who lives in Allen, Tx and our youngest son34 lives in Hurst, Texas. t grandchildren, with a great grandson due in Denver in February 2009.
I spent 35 years in life and health insurance, doing everything from selling to office management. My last 3 years before I retired in 2007 I spent as financial officer of an oil and gas exploration company and I loved it. Wished I done it much earlier.
We are currently raising 7 year old twins, but we try to travel while we still can. We adopted the twins and nicknamed them Bonnie and Clyde. They are a handful.
We also have a miniature schnauzer, 2 golden labs and 5 cats.
